I admire the multi-layered benefit of Pilates and its functionality in complementing other activities and sports, enabling us to move effortlessly and safely through life’s daily pursuits.

I came to Pilates with an injury, I put faith in this form of movement. When I walked into my local Pilates studio I had no idea what to expect or how I was going to move. I was pleasantly surprised by how wonderful I felt after my sessions and this is what motivated me to continue and faithfully attend. I am an avid injury-free runner, hiker, snow skier, and general all-around active person and attribute my ability to do the things I love to my Pilates practice! My pain decreased and my mobility increased!

I strive to teach and induce healing through movement. I use Pilates to help people stay strong, flexible, easy in their bodies and minds, to prevent injuries, to recover from them, to learn and discover new skills. I endeavor to teach efficiency of movement and increase my client's flexibility; all so they can go about their life with spontaneous zest and vigor!

I am a comprehensively trained Pilates instructor; trained in a program consisting of several hundred hours of training with in-class education, mentoring, and one to one training with a 35-year professional Pilates expert.

Being an authorized Scolio-Pilates® Practitioner I customize and create individualized programs for my clients with asymmetrical bodies and those struggling with scoliosis symptoms. I am also certified to train clients who are Pre or Post-natal, as well as individuals experiencing Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson, and Fibromyalgia symptoms.

I welcome into my studio all types of clients who are looking for health and wellness through Pilates and movement. Whether you are a teen, a beginner, an active adult or the advanced Pilates enthusiasts, I will give you abundant attention to releasing tight areas in your body and teach fascial release techniques along with strengthening the entire body from deep within outwards.

As an active Pilates Method Alliance Certified Pilates Trainer, I attend many Pilates based continuing education classes to keep my teaching fresh for my clients and because I believe there is always new information and techniques to be learned I dedicate extra time for learning innovative anatomy education along with complementary mind-body movement modalities.

As a Franklin Method Level 1 Educator and physical trainer I honor your body’s natural bone rhythms; naturally allowing expansive cardiovascular breathing and encourage you to honor your body’s natural movement patterning while gently coaxing healthier ones to develop. Having completed Balanced Body Mentor Training Program with esteemed Master Hybrid Pilates educator Jillian Hessel, as well as a graduate of the classically inspired Pilates Sports Center educational facility, and being a Scolio-Pilates Professional Practitioner, Franklin Method, Red-Cord, and CoreAlign systems trainer I encourage movement in my clients that is often a welcome change from past experiences.
